It's Parkinson's Awareness Month, so listen up! 1 in 200 Canadians will be diagnosed, mostly over age 60 and more frequently in men. There is no cure for this degenerative disease of the brain, but meds can help. If you've got signs, talk to your primary care provider!

We have a small number of administrative professionals. They ensure we get paid, order our supplies, organize meetings, book appointments, handle the bills, organize events, collect and manage data, and a million other tasks that keep the hospital running. Thank you! We adore you! 💙💙💙

Ask anyone how they are, and you're likely to hear: "I'm soooo busy!" And we are - but let's be careful not to glorify or encourage the culture of busyness. Taking time for rest, relaxation, fun, and connection is crucial for good health, and important to role model balance for our kids.
