A beautiful afternoon at the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden this past week gave us the chance to explore, connect, laugh and simply enjoy being together.

A little glimpse of our community life…

It was a beautiful final weekend of August at Sturgeon Creek II!
From watching our monarch butterfly emerge, to enjoying a stroll through the gardens and sharing a few sweet treats together— it’s the simple moments, fresh air, friendship and laughter that make our community feel like home. 💛

And just like that, tomorrow is September! We have a wonderful and busy month ahead! Stay tuned for all that’s coming up! 🍂

Well, that’s day 3 of summer camp in the books!! And what a 3 days it has been, from raising the flag and singing O Canada to kick start camp to the finale of a camp sing-along with Denny and treating ourselves to s’mores tarts and lemonade!!
The last song performed today was Country Roads, and we decided the only place we want any country road to take us is right here to SC II because this is where we belong, having the time of our lives and making happy memories together!!
So long, little campers, and we will look forward to seeing you at ASC camp 2027!!

Day 2 at ASC summer camp at SC II has been a whirlwind of activity, from early morning, and we will be at it till almost dark tonight by the time we finish up our bug bingo.
We started off the day with a cup of coffee and created some adorable little origami bears. We hit the great outdoors for a nature walk, and kept right on trucking throughout the rest of the day.
I will let the pictures speak for themselves, and you be the judge if this looks like fun and a good time to you!!

ASC summer camp got off to a resounding start this morning with the singing of O Canada and the raising of the Canadian flag, followed by the group recitation of the camp oath.
There was much laughter and giggling as we filled out our camp name tags but each and every one of us was a good sport and stuck them on our shirts.
After a lively Zumba class, we adjourned to partake of some cotton ball smash art. What could have been a little messy did not turn out to be, except for the camp councillor spilling the green paint. They all turned into some remarkably interesting pieces of art!!
After a delightful camp lunch, we were educated on everything you could ever need to know about bees and beekeeping.
We picked up the pace once again with a competition of a new game called bounce ball. The participants did awesome and each round we had to move the bouncer farther away from the target just to make the game more of a challenge!! All later enjoyed a refreshing treat of rocket pop lemonade.
We will round out day 1 of camp with a camp themed movie before putting our heads on our pillows for some well-deserved shut eye!!
