Double the smiles, double the cuteness. 💚👓👓💚

These adorable twins stopped by to pick out their very first pairs of glasses before starting kindergarten this fall. They even came dressed in matching green outfits (fit in really well with our office colours 😂).

A friendly reminder to parents: before school starts, don’t forget to book your child’s eye exam. Good vision plays a huge role in learning, reading, and building confidence in the classroom.

If your child is starting kindergarten and needs glasses, they may qualify for a FREE pair through the Kindergarten First Pair Free program. It’s a wonderful program that helps set kids up for success from day one. Thanx to EssilorLuxottica

Meet Anik! 🤍

If you’ve been in on a Saturday over the last few months, chances are you’ve already met the friendly face greeting you at the front desk!

Anik has been part of our team for the past three months, and she has fit right in. She brings such a calm, positive energy to the clinic, and her fun personality makes Saturdays even better for both our team and our patients.

You’ll often see her welcoming you, helping with pre-testing, and making sure your visit starts off on the right foot.

We’re so happy to have you on the Academy Optical team, Anik, and we’re excited to continue growing together! 💙

Some things go far beyond a job description. ❤️

One of our long-time, loyal patients recently had a fall and wasn’t able to come into the office after breaking her glasses. Instead of asking her to wait, Rhonda brought the eyewear shopping experience to her.

She hand-selected frames, fit them at the hospital bedside, and ordered new glasses so our patient wouldn’t have to go without the vision she desperately needed.

This is who Rhonda has always been. Even in semi-retirement, her dedication, compassion, and genuine care for her patients never stop. It’s no surprise she has built such an incredibly loyal patient family over the years. We are so grateful for everything she continues to do. ❤️

A little FYI—Arsh is off enjoying a well-deserved holiday this week, but you’ll find Rhonda at Academy Optical, ready to help you with the same kindness and care she’s shown for decades.
