Dynacare Locations to Re-open Wednesday.

Following a Manitoba Labour Board hearing Tuesday, Dynacare employees have been ordered back to work on Wednesday, September 9.

Physicians should monitor the situation closely to ensure you are routing time sensitive requisitions appropriately while you also resume less urgent Dynacare lab requests.

Registration is now open to receive provincially supplied influenza and COVID-19 vaccines for the 2026/27 respiratory illness immunization program. Be sure to register by August 15, 2026 to avoid delays in vaccine shipments.

Prairie Mountain Health Region is asking for urgent help with inpatient and emergency services in Ste. Rose, Roblin and Swan River, as well as on-call anesthesia assistance in Neepawa. Doctors Manitoba is compiling a list of physicians who may be able to help now and in the near future.

We're tackling the paperwork problem. Doctors Manitoba has developed prototype employer medical forms to create a more consistent, structured approach, and we want physicians to weigh in.

RSV protection expanding: beginning October 2026, all infants — no matter when they're born — will be eligible for one dose of nirsevimab during their first RSV season. Offered in hospital or through public health sites.
