Having a baby changes everything in your life. We know that all birthing people benefit when they have support for returning to the workplace!

Many mothers don't feel properly supported when they return to the workplace after maternity leave, a new survey suggests. An advocacy group says the figures show employers need programs to help female employees reintegrate after they have children

Mother's Day - a day of reflection on experiences and relationships - is complicated. It may be a joyous celebration of acknowledgement and appreciation. It may be a painful reminder of hurt, loss and grief. We know that the realities of many people aren't captured in mainstream messages about mothering.

We see you. And we see the hard work all of you are doing every day - as mothers. parents, caregivers, and workers - to keep the children of the world safe and healthy under the ongoing challenges of a pandemic.

We want you to know that all of us at WHC hold space for you every day - in our thoughts, in our hearts, and in our work. For each of you, we hope today is a day of gentle peace.

It's Earth Day - the perfect day to celebrate some of the good things that happen when our kids get to spend time playing outdoors!

It's a great way to learn about the natural world, how everything is connected, and why we all need to take care of the planet we call home.

Outdoor play generates creative thinking, giving us new perspectives and ideas about ourselves, and the world we all share.

Meeting and connecting with the diverse people in our communities as strengthens our social bonds, and builds kinship, equity and inclusion.

Exploring the outdoor world allows us to move our bodies in ways we enjoy, engages our brains in discovery and wonder, and builds our resilience.

Hope you are able to enjoy this beautiful sunny Spring day!
