Dr. Eduardo Barreto: Integral Health/Salud Integral Eduardo Barreto: Integral Health/Salud Integral Hola

I have been helping people through Alternative and Complementary Medicine since 1992.

I am continually inspired by the body's incredible ability to heal and transform when we integrate the mind, emotions, and physical body. By addressing the root causes of imbalance, we can not only resolve many health issues but also prevent them—empowering ourselves to create lasting change. Modalities such as acupuncture, meditation, tai chi, nutrition, and exercise help restore balance and give

us greater control over our health. I specialize in acupuncture, homeopathy, electro-acupuncture, ear acupuncture, and tapping (a technique that balances emotional well-being through acupressure points). I also incorporate Qigong exercises, blending the best of Eastern and Western medicine to support holistic healing. Additionally, I work with Energy EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and other healing modalities to promote overall well-being. At this moment as RMT I have a non-practicing status from MTAM. Summer Time:
Time to learn how bake bread.

Time to receive acupuncture.

Time to enjoy a good pickleball tournament.

Time to enjoy the hammock outside.

Time to enjoy the garden, eating fresh sweet strawberries 🍓.

Time to watch good shows at The Fringe( Strange Things and The Summer I Turned Sparkly) Meraki Theatre Productions
with a good cold dark beer.

Time to barbecue.

Time to discharge and recharge (always a good habit)

Don’t let the dark clouds and minds block your light.

“And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through… But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in.”

The Science of Breathing is an educational podcast series presented by Wellness and Natural Health Academy that explores one of the most essential yet often overlooked functions of human life: breathing.

Although we breathe more than 20,000 times each day, few people understand how breathing influences the brain, nervous system, emotions, energy levels, sleep quality, recovery, and overall health. This series combines modern scientific research, neuroscience, sports performance, psychology, mindfulness, and ancient breathing traditions to help listeners better understand the powerful connection between breath and well-being.

In Episode 1, listeners discover why breathing is much more than simply moving air in and out of the lungs. The episode explores how breathing acts as a bridge between the body and mind, influences emotional states, supports cellular energy production, and helps regulate the nervous system. It also examines the effects of modern lifestyles, chronic stress, and unconscious breathing habits on health and performance.

Future episodes explore topics such as nasal breathing, nitric oxide, sleep and apnea, breathing and trauma, athletic performance, nervous system regulation, and practical breathing training methods.

Whether you are interested in improving health, reducing stress, enhancing athletic performance, increasing focus, or simply learning more about the human body, The Science of Breathing offers practical insights and evidence-based tools to help you breathe better and live better.

How Writing Can Reset the Mind: The Psychology Behind Journaling

Recently, I had a conversation with a patient about the simple act of writing. We explored how putting thoughts on paper can function as a mental “reset.” One week later, he returned and described noticeable changes. He felt calmer, more reflective, and less reactive in difficult situations. He reported greater clarity in his decisions and a stronger sense of emotional control. The only meaningful change he had made was beginning a daily habit of writing and reviewing his thoughts, emotions, ideas, and interpretations of daily events.

Discover optimal health through natural health by exploring energy healing techniques and embracing integral health practices. With personalized coaching, you can effectively navigate your wellness journey and implement stress management strategies for a balanced life.
