Tracey McGillivray is the Co‑founder and CEO of Axtion Independence Mobility, creators of the RAYMEX® Lift, a Nova Scotia designed mobility device inspired by her own family’s experience with aging-related mobility challenges and proudly manufactured in Amherst with Precise Design Engineering Solutions.
After a 30-year career leading global technology organizations, Tracey “un‑retired” to build a mission-driven medical device company focused on independence, dignity, and fall prevention. She is very proud to partner with Precise Design and a network of local businesses across Cumberland County whose skilled teams - including many talented women in trades and business - bring the RAYMEX® Lift to life.
A recent Dragons’ Den entrepreneur, Tracey is known for her energy, candour, and passion for community-driven innovation. She serves on the Board of Governors at Acadia University and is a champion of women in business, rural economic development, and the power of collaboration.
