Yesterday, Julie and I had the pleasure of attending the Race for Hope 2026 fundraiser at Woodbine Racetrack in support of Thank you to our wonderful client and friend Angela who extended the invitation to us. It was inspiring to see so many people come together to support a cause that truly makes a difference. Every young person deserves the opportunity to feel safe, supported and empowered to build a brighter future.
We couldn’t resist the excuse to dress up, wear our fascinators and enjoy a day at the races while supporting such an important cause. It was such a lovely afternoon filled with inspiring speakers, yummy lunch; we even watched and bet on the horse races, toured the paddock, and even contributed a donation to the silent auction.
Most importantly, the event helped raise critical funds for Horizons for Youth, an organization that supports at-risk and homeless youth aged 16–24. They provide so much more than emergency shelter; they offer safety, support, stability, and hope during some of the most challenging and vulnerable moments in a young person’s life.
We are grateful to have been part of such a meaningful event and to support an organization making a real difference in the lives of young people in the community. ❤️
