ARC II – The Movement Arc: Reclaiming Sacred Motion

You’ve softened. You’ve surrendered. You’ve remembered how to breathe without bracing.

Now… it’s time to move.

Arc II, “The Movement Arc,” is where we begin to release through sacred motion, allowing deeper stored patterns to move through the body with grace and intention.

This arc is not about performance. It’s about permission to express what was once held—to let your body speak, unwind tension, and reclaim its natural rhythm.

In Arc II, we will explore six intentional breath-meets-movement practices designed to:
* Ignite somatic flow for emotional unwinding
* Melt chest armour and open the relational heart
* Harmonize the internal field through resonant vibration
* Soften fear and create emotional safety in the ribs and diaphragm
* Release identity and embody empowerment through inner fire
* Embody effortless alignment and flow state through river-like movement

And we’ll conclude with the “Return to Rhythm” integration practice—a 3–5 minute anchoring ritual to stabilize your field after movement.

Are you ready to move with us? Let your body lead. I’ll meet you in motion.

The Inner King is not about power.
It is about stewardship.

Arc II — The Direction & Stewardship Arc

After connection forms…something deeper is asked:
Can I hold what I’ve created?
“I lead.”

Not through force — but through presence, responsibility, and structure.

This is where leadership begins. But for many of us, leadership did not feel safe or steady.

We may have experienced:
control instead of guidance…pressure instead of support…or responsibility without foundation.

So the system adapts.
Sometimes by gripping tightly — trying to control everything.
Sometimes by stepping back — avoiding responsibility altogether.
Sometimes by starting…but not being able to sustain.

These are not failures. They are ways the body learned to navigate responsibility without stability.

The deeper question becomes:
“Can I hold direction…even when it feels uncomfortable?”
Because leadership is not about intensity.
It is about consistency.

If this stage resonates, begin gently:
• Notice where you over-control or withdraw
• Take responsibility for one small area of your life
• Create a simple structure that supports you daily
• Stay present when things feel heavy or uncertain
• Follow through—especially when it’s inconvenient

Leadership doesn’t require perfection. It requires steadiness. The Inner King stabilizes when responsibility becomes grounded — not overwhelming.
Over the coming days, we’ll explore how this stage evolves into the Inner Sage — where leadership becomes wisdom in action.

As I pause to reflect on my journey, it’s been four years since I became a yoga teacher. And while this past year has seen me shift my focus and offerings, the heart of my path remains the same: service through connection.

My journey into teaching began not with a plan, but with a deep curiosity and a desire to serve. When my husband, Ted, envisioned us owning a yoga studio, I knew I needed to understand the heart of yoga—to truly know what it was, and to be able to guide others toward the practice that best suited their unique path. It was a heart-led calling from the very beginning.

I’m deeply grateful for the community that called me into this role. It was your presence, your trust, and your shared spirit that inspired me to step onto the mat as a guide. Without that collective energy, I wouldn’t have taken the leap.
And it was my husband, Ted, who encouraged me to step into the leadership of our studio. His vision and support were a constant source of strength. I love you.

This past year has been a profound one. The closure of Yoga on Seven in January 2025 felt like an ending, and I truly was at a crossroads. But as I started to listen to the little “breadcrumbs”—the quiet “yeses” within—I began to see what was unfolding before me.

I am meant to hold space differently now. Creating guided meditations for YouTube, sharing experiences on podcasts, and still offering in-person experiences while reaching people on the other side of the world. These tools and offerings are not just for you—they are also a way for me to continue learning, growing, and deepening my own understanding of this path.

And as I continue to follow these breadcrumbs, I’m also beginning to weave my own story into words, with a book project that explores my journey to Canada and the rich tapestry of family memories.

The friends I’ve made and the deep connections forged through yoga are what make this path worthwhile.

To my fellow yoga teachers—Iqbal, Helen, Carol, Jasdeep, and Megan—thank you for the laughs, tears, and mistakes we learnt along the way.

To my Yoga on Seven community, thank you for supporting me and providing a space for me to grow.

The Inner Lover is not about romance. It is about relationship.

Arc II — The Direction & Stewardship Arc

After boundaries form…the next question emerges:
Can I stay open?
Not just physically — but emotionally…relationally…and within myself.

“I connect.”

This is where intimacy begins. But for many of us, connection did not feel steady.

Closeness may have felt:
inconsistent…overwhelming…or conditional.

So the system adapts.

Sometimes by holding on too tightly.
Sometimes by pulling away completely.
Sometimes by staying present for others — while leaving ourselves behind.

These patterns are not flaws. They are ways the body learned to navigate connection without safety.

The deeper question becomes:
“Can I stay with myself…while I am with someone else?”
Because intimacy is not just closeness.

It is presence without self-abandonment.

If this stage resonates, begin gently:
• Notice when you lose connection to your body around others
• Pause when you feel the urge to over-give or withdraw
• Name a need internally before responding externally
• Practice receiving—without immediately giving back
• Stay present with connection, without rushing to define it

Connection doesn’t need to be forced. It needs to be felt…and allowed.

The Inner Lover stabilizes when presence becomes steady — not performative.

Over the coming days, we’ll explore how this stage evolves into the Inner King — where connection becomes responsibility and leadership.

There’s something different about sound you can feel in your body…

When I offer sound healing—whether for myself or in a yoga class—I often pair it with a song that really resonates.

My go-to lately: “Calling All Angels” — Katy Samwell.

There’s something about it that opens the space… softens the edges… and lets the body drop.

Even though I listen to sound baths through headphones at night (and they do help), nothing compares to an in-person sound bath.

You can feel it. The vibrations move through you. The tightness begins to loosen—without effort.

If you have access to a live sound bath in your community… I really recommend experiencing it.

And if you don’t—headphones, a quiet space, and intention still go a long way.

Healing can meet you where you are.
