Still feeling so grateful for the weekend we got to share yoga with the Folk on the Rocks community. 💜
We’re so honoured to have been invited to be part of this beautiful community festival again this year. From our opening session to Saturday’s practice, it was such a joy to share yoga with festival-goers, families, little yogis, and our wider Yellowknife community.
A big shoutout to teachers Kate and Dan for sharing their teachings and energy with us 😌✨ and to Dan and Sunaïra for bringing live music to the practice. 🎶
A huge thank you to all of the organizers, coordinators, staff, and volunteers who pour so much time, energy, and heart into making Folk on the Rocks happen. It takes an incredible community effort to create a weekend like this, and we’re so grateful to have been a small part of it.
And a special shoutout to the volunteers who brought iced rags for our students and teachers during savasana at our second session. 🥹 On the hottest day of the weekend, lying there in the sunshine with a cool, damp cloth was absolute bliss. Such a simple gesture, but such a beautiful example of the care and community spirit that makes this festival so special.
Thank you for welcoming us, dancing with us, practicing with us, and sharing the weekend with us. We’re already feeling nostalgic. 💜🌿☀️
