I've missed you!!

Since my overseas adventure, I've been dying to get back into the swing of things, but adjusting to life on this side of a life-changing event has been a bit of a challenge.

So let's hang out together, July 23rd.

The Embrace: Breathwork For a Crazy F&$%ing World is back!

If you haven't attended this event yet, it's a 90 minute, monthly event that combines grief processing, somatic tools and breathwork to help us navigate the current state of the world, and work through these feelings so we can move forward with clarity.

What you'll need is a quiet space free of distractions, space to lay down for the breathwork portion of the event, and anything else that helps you feel safe, and comfortable, like cushions or blankets.

This is a pay-what-you can, donation based event, with 15% of proceeds being donated to Where the Daisies Grow Collective- a community focused on providing principled and dignified mutual aid. Check them out on Instagram The "Where Daisies Grow" Collective 🤍🌱

I was in 8th grade when we went on a school field trip, to an exhibit at Nathan Philips Square, called Refugee Camp in the City. Ever since then, it's been a dream to participate in a humanitarian effort - and this spring, the dreams of that little girl are coming true.

This spring, I'll be participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla, both as a boat medic, and with the goal of working on the ground assisting Palestinian medical teams.

As I've been saying- we can't good vibes our way out of injustice, and I am beyond blessed to have a the opportunity to take action.

The support from my community so far has been amazing, and I am forever grateful to you all. I'll be posting updates here as I prepare for this mission, although at some point, I anticipate that I will have to pause online activity.

It's one of the reasons I'm so bad at social media- I don't want to live for the highlight reel. Real life has been busy shaping me, molding me, and expanding me in ways that I haven't expected.

This winter has been a time of deep reflection - one where all my beliefs have been subjected to challenge and scrutiny.

This is the mess we're in right now.

And as someone who's been in the wellness world for a while now, I can tell you that no amount of individual regulation and personal healing will replace tearing this 👆👆👆👆 apart, thread by thread, until the whole thing unravels.

And I'll be damned if I don't do my part.
