Well what a nice surprise to start off the weekend! We found out today that we've won GOLD in the Physicians category of CommunityVotes - Cape Breton ! On top of that, our very own Dr. Jonah Samson was an honorable audience top pick. Thank you so much to everyone who nominated us and voted for us! We love the work we do, but most of all, we love the community we get to serve!

The River Roots farm stand opens TOMORROW! We hope to see you there! We got a late harvest this year due to a colder spring and onboarding some new gardeners, but now we are seeing the hard work pay off! Plenty of fresh herbs, tomatoes, peppers, and many other summer favourites

If you liked seeing all the photos of all the great things we cooked at FoodFit, then you should join us this fall! Our next session starts September 14th in River Bourgeois, at Richmond River Roots.

This is a 12 week program where we find ways to build good relationships with food, movement, and the community around us. All older adults are welcome, no matter what your experience level with cooking is.
