I’m excited to share that I officially became a member of the Ukrainian Association of Health Coaches! 🇺🇦

One of the reasons I became so passionate about health coaching is that healthy skin is about much more than skincare alone.

The best skincare routine in the world can’t fully compensate for chronic stress, poor sleep, an unbalanced diet, lack of physical activity, or everyday habits that affect our health.

That’s why I believe in a whole-person, evidence-based approach to skin health - combining skincare with nutrition, lifestyle, sleep, stress management, physical activity, and sustainable healthy habits.

I recently completed my health coaching training at Здоровʼя | Довголіття | Наука , a school founded by the renowned Ukrainian scientist Олександр Коляда. Наука | Здоровʼя | Longevity .

My next goal is to continue my education in the United States and earn an American health coaching certification. Since I now live and work here, I want to combine my experience in aesthetics with evidence-based health coaching to help my clients achieve healthier skin and better long-term health.

I’m excited to share even more evidence-based content on skin health, healthy aging, nutrition, and the science behind healthier skin with you 😉

Thank you to everyone who trusts me. 💙

This might be one of the most valuable courses I’ve ever taken.

Based on Yale University’s The Science of Well-Being, created by Professor Laurie Santos.
Dr. Laurie Santos

I truly recommend it.

I chose this course because it’s based on modern scientific research on happiness-not motivation, but evidence.

We spend years chasing things we believe will make us happy:
• more money
• a better job
• the perfect body
• success
• status

Yet decades of research show that once our basic needs are met, these things increase happiness only temporarily.

So what actually predicts long-term well-being?

✔️ Strong relationships
✔️ Good sleep
✔️ Regular physical activity
✔️ Gratitude
✔️ Helping others
✔️ Using your strengths
✔️ Mindfulness
✔️ Finding meaning in everyday life

One quote from the course has stayed with me:

“Happiness is not the reward for success. Success is more often the result of being happier.”

Perhaps the biggest lesson is this:

We overestimate the power of future achievements and underestimate the power of our daily habits.

Science suggests that your happiness depends far more on an ordinary Tuesday than on a few extraordinary moments throughout your life.

Your brain is naturally wired to notice what’s missing rather than appreciate what you already have.

That’s why gratitude isn’t just a positive mindset-it’s a way to retrain your brain.

Maybe happiness isn’t something we find.

Maybe it’s something we practice every single day.

After all, happiness isn’t just about feeling better-it also affects our physical health, resilience, and even longevity.

‼️Which daily habit has had the biggest positive impact on your happiness?

My First Certifications in the U.S.

* Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
* Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)
* Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
* Certified EKG Technician (CET)

Long story short.

After moving to America in 2022, I watched how quickly my children adapted to life here. They learned English much faster than I did, and it inspired me. I realized that studying in English would be one of the best ways to improve my language skills while also learning something directly connected to the work I already do.

Since my work is focused on skin health and I already had a medical background from Ukraine, I decided to begin with a Medical Assistant certification. I wanted to better understand the American healthcare system, its standards, protocols, and approach to patient care, since healthcare systems differ from country to country.

I studied for about a year before taking my certification exams at a testing center.

This experience strengthened my ability to communicate more effectively with clients, perform medical-grade treatments with greater confidence, and help people understand that healthy skin is about much more than a monthly facial.

I’m glad I took that step. Every new skill, certification, and challenge helps me provide a higher level of care and better service to my clients.

I’m still learning-improving my English, expanding my medical knowledge and vocabulary, and continuing to develop the skills that help me become a better health and skincare professional.
