Last post, I told you about the insight that turned things around for me:

💡Rest is not the opposite of productivity. It's how you stay productive over time.

I wish I could tell you it changed everything instantly, but it didn't.

I knew rest was important. I still couldn't make myself do it.
I kept letting my breaks get knocked back by more urgent tasks.
I pushed through until I passed out at 8pm listening to "Wow in the World," in the toddler bed with my 4-year-old.
I went too long without real refueling, and scrolling became my poor second.

For a while I thought I was a hopeless case. If I knew better, I should do better. So why couldn't I?

Here's what I learned during my ADHD coaching training:

💡The gap between knowing and doing is where people with ADHD struggle most.

Urgency was the only way I knew to get myself to act. And rest is never urgent until you're flat on your back.

But urgency isn't the only thing that sets an ADHD brain in action mode.
Once I learned other ways to get myself to act, I started resting before it became urgent.

One summer, I let myself watch a show every morning, right after camp drop-off. Not as a reward for finishing anything. Just rest, on purpose, while the house was still a mess.

The late-night episodes dropped off. I slept more. I needed less caffeine. I outsmarted my picky eaters instead of crying in the bathroom.

Rest that fits your ADHD wiring is learnable. That's what I'm teaching on July 30th:

You know the walk matters. The early night. The real lunch.

Knowing hasn't made it happen.

That's not laziness. That's how an ADHD brain decides what gets done. Urgency wins. "Important" waits.

In my free live training, "Dishes Later. You First!", I'm teaching you what DOES get your ADHD brain moving, so self-care stops losing to everything that screams louder.

You've tried to take yourself out for a walk.

You've started more healthy eating plans that you can count.

You know you need to get to bed earlier.

And yet, you still stay up way too late, snacking and scrolling. And that daily walk you promised yourself just stays there on the back burner, taunting you.

You keep wondering why you're so "lazy" and "undisciplined" because you know how important self-care is.

💡Here's what no one told you about ADHD:

KNOWING what's important does not automatically translate into consistently DOING what's important.

The reason you are so exhausted is that self-care is rarely urgent. And your ADHD brain gets powered by urgency, not importance.

That's why I created a free training called Dishes Later. You First!

July 30th. Live. Free.

Inside, I'll walk you through:

✓ How your ADHD brain decides what gets done and why you keep putting yourself last.

✓ How to stop reacting to every little crisis and start proactively protecting the energy your family needs from you.

✓ How to stay committed to self- care AND accomplish enough to feel good and function well with ADHD.

This isn't about doing more.

It's a completely different approach on how to balance productivity with refuelling.

Join me to finally understand why nothing has worked yet - and what actually will.

You didn't daven. Again. You skipped your physio. Again. It's frozen schnitzels for dinner. Again.

And you're feeling so disappointed in yourself. Again.

Because you know these things matter.

Here's what's actually going on👇
You're not lazy. It's not that you don't care.
It's that your ADHD brain is more attracted to what's urgent than what's important.

It's called urgent for a reason — it gives you the "urge" to tackle it. Important never does that.

But the menuchas nefesh that comes from doing what's important is so much more satisfying than the little dopamine hit you get from doing what's urgent.

💡Protecting your priorities is a skill set you can learn — not a fantasy.

Ready to stop letting urgency hijack your day? The link in my bio will take you to a free breakthrough call. 💜
