💜AN EVENING OF REVOLUTIONARY DIALOGUE💜
This past Friday, The Nurse's Orders proudly hosted the second edition of our flagship initiative, Lisango neLiguma, under the powerful theme, "The Power of Choice."
This culturally anchored dialogue initiative is dedicated to creating safety and depth providing a brave environment where each gender can speak honestly, free from the modulating effects of cross-gender social performances.
We were deeply honored to host the trailblazing Honourable Minister of ICT, Hon. Savannah Maziya. In her moving keynote address to both the ladies and gentlemen, the Minister strongly condemned Gender-Based Violence (GBV), pleading with males to develop emotional intelligence rather than resorting to violence. She also highlighted the critical importance of mental health and continuous self-development.
The event was also beautifully graced by the University of Eswatini Vice Chancellor, Professor J.M. Thwala. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Clement Dlamini and Mr. Mfundo Dlamini (Mehluli Dlamini) from Gentlemen's Talk, who both honored our invitation, with Mr. Mfundo Dlamini delivering a powerful address to the males Esangweni.
An event of this magnitude would not have been a success without the incredible support of the Uneswa Faculty of Health Sciences. We pass our sincerest gratitude to the faculty for holding our hands and guiding us every step of the way.
We also extend our profound thanks to The Nurse’s Orders Patron, Dr. S.K.S. Masuku (LaNhlane Suku), for your continued guidance and support. Without your wisdom and uplifting hand, we would not have been able to birth such a meaningful initiative.
To all our stakeholders, partners, and everyone who donated to make this event a success: thank you. We were able to make a tangible impact because of each and every hand that contributed to our cause.
We at The Nurse's Orders remain steadfast and committed to delivering quality healthcare and passionate health advocacy, as we work towards maintaining and elevating the standards of the nursing profession.
As our Founding Director & Chairperson, Mr. Ndwandwe Meluleki (Meluleki Kingsavage Nxumalo) beautifully stated during his speech: "We cannot build a healthy nation alone. Our hands are open for collaboration and partnership as we take health to the furthest corners of Eswatini, and as we continue to strive to revolutionize the healthcare system of Eswatini through technological advancement."
Thank you to everyone who walked this journey with us. Together, we are changing the narrative.
