: (PH) often develops slowly, with non-specific symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, fatigue, dizziness or fainting, swelling in the legs/ankles, changes in skin color and a fast or pounding heartbeat. This poses a significant challenge for diagnosis, so awareness of these symptoms is key to earlier recognition and care.

: (PAH) is a serious lung condition that can cause high blood pressure in the lungs and lead to right heart failure. It can develop alongside heart or lung disease, blood clots or genetics, and sometimes the cause is unknown.
