In this edition, the Tunisian Society of Telemedicine and eHealth (STTeS), will provide a comprehensive overview of digital health in Tunisia.

The opening segment of the webinar will reflect on the Tunisian society's historical trajectory, major achievements, and its present role in promoting telemedicine and eHealth throughout the country.

The discussion will then examine national digital health infrastructure, including the "Digital Hospital," Tunisia's national telemedicine center, which has already launched activities across multiple specialties. The webinar will assess its current integration within the health system, review progress made, identify ongoing challenges, and explore perspectives for broader implementation.

Training and education initiatives in digital health will also be addressed, focusing on how students and practicing professionals are being prepared to integrate eHealth tools into clinical practice.

Innovation, Trust and Sustainability: The Power of Accreditation in Digital Health & Telehealth

The International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth (ISFTeH), in collaboration with QAI, joined a World Accreditation Day webinar that brought together international experts to discuss the growing importance of accreditation in telemedicine, digital health, and virtual care. The session emphasized how accreditation helps strengthen trust, improve quality, support patient safety, and promote sustainability in healthcare systems that are increasingly powered by technology.

A number of key topics were highlighted throughout the webinar, including the role of accreditation in building confidence in digital health services, the need for clear standards in telehealth, and the importance of interoperability, data protection, and responsible use of artificial intelligence. Speakers also discussed the value of continuous quality improvement, governance, and independent verification in ensuring that digital health services remain safe, effective, and accountable.

The webinar also underscored the importance of global collaboration in shaping the future of telemedicine and eHealth. ISFTeH reaffirmed its commitment to supporting international efforts that advance reliable, equitable, and sustainable digital health solutions for patients, providers, and health systems worldwide.
