On 17 September we mark and the 2026 theme: 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚.

🏥 For hospital and health system leaders, improving the traceability of medicines throughout the care pathway is an important step towards safer, more connected, and more patient-centred care.

IHF member, 𝗞𝗼𝘀𝗼𝘃𝗼 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, was joined by Linda Clark and Will Clark for a three-day leadership programme built on the 𝘐𝘏𝘍 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺 𝘔𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘭.

From 1 to 3 September, the programme brought senior leaders from hospitals, primary care, and the Ministry together for sessions on 𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝙚𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚, 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙙𝙮𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙘𝙨.

The highlight: Geneva Sustainability Centre's 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗯 (𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟), a live simulation challenging teams to hit performance targets under real-time pressure.

The programme was conducted in partnership with Integrated Health Services Project (Kosovo) implemented by Swiss TPH, with the support of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
