Not every clinical case is straightforward.
And sometimes, the most interesting lessons come from the cases where things don’t go as planned.
During his To The Point Lecture at AAE26, Dr. Sameer Jain shared a challenging upper second molar case where both MB1 and MB2 canals were significantly blocked.
Patency could not initially be achieved all the way to the apex.
After running ODNE Clean for just two or three cycles, the result revealed something remarkable: a triple split at the apex.
For Dr. Jain, this suggested an intriguing possibility:
Could cleaning extend beyond areas that conventional instruments are able to reach?
Cases like this continue to drive important conversations around fluid dynamics, cleaning effectiveness and the future of endodontic treatment.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll continue sharing key insights from the To The Point Lectures presented during AAE26.
