Not every clinical case is straightforward.

And sometimes, the most interesting lessons come from the cases where things don’t go as planned.

During his To The Point Lecture at AAE26, Dr. Sameer Jain shared a challenging upper second molar case where both MB1 and MB2 canals were significantly blocked.

Patency could not initially be achieved all the way to the apex.

After running ODNE Clean for just two or three cycles, the result revealed something remarkable: a triple split at the apex.

For Dr. Jain, this suggested an intriguing possibility:

Could cleaning extend beyond areas that conventional instruments are able to reach?

Cases like this continue to drive important conversations around fluid dynamics, cleaning effectiveness and the future of endodontic treatment.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll continue sharing key insights from the To The Point Lectures presented during AAE26.

Before using ODNE Clean clinically, Dr. Sameer Jain decided to test it on something simple:
A piece of paper.
And the result immediately caught his attention.

“It was literally etching it.”

What makes this fascinating is not only the visible effect itself, but understanding what is happening behind it:
Thousands of microjet bubbles rapidly forming and collapsing, releasing energy through hydro-dynamic cavitation.

As Dr. Jain explains, it’s remarkable to see how much power can come from such a small tip.

Sometimes the most disruptive technologies are not the biggest or the loudest.
They are the ones capable of changing how we understand cleaning at a microscopic level.

More clinical insights, cases and discussions from the To The Point Lectures are coming over the next weeks. 👀

During his To The Point Lecture at AAE26, Dr. Sameer Jain explained ODNE Clean with a very simple comparison:
“It's like a power wash for your root canals.”

But behind that analogy, there is a fascinating concept based on hydro-dynamic cavitation and fluid dynamics.

Using sterile water, ODNE Clean generates thousands of microbubbles that rapidly form and collapse, releasing shock waves and targeted microjets capable of physically disrupting biofilm and dislodging debris inside the canal.

One of the most interesting aspects of this approach is that cleaning is not based only on stronger chemistry or more aggressive instrumentation. ….is that effective cleaning does not solely rely on harsher chemicals or more aggressive instroumentation.

Instead, It is based on the physical disruption of biofilm through cavitation dynamics and preservation of tooth struture.

This lecture opened another important conversation during AAE26 around how clinicians may rethink cleaning effectiveness and minimally invasive irrigation workflows in the future.

And this is only one of the To The Point Lectures we’ll be sharing over the coming weeks. 👀

During his To The Point Lecture at AAE26, Dr. Benedict Bachstein shared several clinical insights using ODNEClean — from improved visibility inside the canal to a more comfortable post-op experience for the patient.

One of the most interesting aspects discussed was how fluid dynamics may support cleaning efficiency inside complex anatomies, while simplifying different moments of the clinical workflow.

As Dr. Bachstein said:
“It really works. It is actually fascinating.”

ODNEClean uses hydro-dynamic cavitation to physically disrupt biofilm and debris within the canal system while using sterile water as the main debridement medium.

According to available study data referenced by ODNE:
“ODNEClean using WATER ONLY removes biofilms as effectively as Ultrasonic using NaOCl.”¹

Thank you to everyone who joined the To The Point Lectures during AAE26 and helped make these conversations possible.

At AAE26, Dr. shared a case that challenged one of the most traditional concepts in endodontic instrumentation.

Because in this treatment, no conventional instrument ever touched the canal.

And that changes something important:

The smear layer we constantly try to remove… is often created by us during instrumentation in the first place.

This case was presented as a different way of thinking.

Not as a protocol to copy tomorrow morning.

But as a glimpse into how technologies like ODNE Clean could potentially be used for what they were originally intended to do:

Enhance cleaning and fluid dynamics inside the canal while minimizing unnecessary intervention.

Sometimes innovation is not about adding more steps.

But about questioning the ones we have normalized for years.

We’re opening a month of clinical insights from the To The Point Lectures presented during AAE26. 👀

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing different lectures, cases and clinical discussions from some of the speakers who joined us in Salt Lake City.

We begin with Dr. Benedict Bachstein and a comparison that challenges one of the most established assumptions in endodontic irrigation.

When observing biofilm removal through confocal laser scanning microscopy, the differences became very clear.

OdneClean using WATER ONLY removes biofilms as effectively as Ultrasonic using NaOCl.

This opens an important conversation about the future of irrigation:

Maybe it’s not only about stronger chemistry.

Maybe it’s also about fluid dynamics creating strong mechanical cleaning inside the canal.

Thank you to everyone who joined us during the To The Point Lectures at AAE26.

Comment LECTURE and we’ll send you access to this first complete lecture.

Sometimes, the most important conversations happen far away from the spotlight.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Saito from Tohoku University for a visit focused on the future of endodontics in Japan 🇯🇵

From clinical trials to regulatory pathways and reimbursement discussions, these conversations are essential to continue building technologies that can truly integrate into real clinical workflows around the world.

At ODNE, innovation is not only about developing technology.
It’s also about creating strong collaborations, exchanging knowledge, and understanding the realities of each market.

Thank you, Professor Saito, for the visit and the valuable discussions.

Minimally invasive endodontics continues to shape modern clinical workflows.

ODNEClean was designed to support minimally invasive shaping protocols starting from ISO 20.04 — helping preserve natural tooth structure while integrating seamlessly into existing workflows.

✔ Requires minimal canal preparation
✔ Compatible with current shaping and obturation protocols
✔ Simple and predictable integration

At AAE, we launched a special ODNE promotion for visitors at our booth.

💬 Comment “DEAL” and we’ll send you the exclusive offer launched at AAE.

Some things are meant to stay at the booth.

But others… are too valuable not to share.

At AAE 2026, we had conversations that went beyond features.
Beyond products.

We talked about challenges.
About limitations.
About where endodontics is heading.

And we launched something special for those who were there.

But we know not everyone could make it.

So we decided to extend it.

If you’ve been following,
if you’re curious,
if you feel that something in endodontics is shifting…

This is for you.

💬 Comment “DEAL” and we’ll send you all the details.

What actually happened at AAE 2026…

Not just demos.
Not just a booth.

Four days full of conversations.
Questions.
Different ways of understanding endodontics.

Some of you came by out of curiosity.
Others already knew what ODNE was about.

But what stayed the same in every interaction?
The interest. The questions. The need to go deeper.

We didn’t just show OdneClean.
We listened. A lot.

About protocols.
About challenges in daily practice.
About where things feel like they’re changing.

And that’s probably what we’re taking with us the most.

Because AAE is not just about what’s already out there.
It’s about what’s starting to move.

And you could feel it.

If you came by the booth, thank you.
If not… we’ll see you at the next one 👀
