Dreaming of our last days in Switzerland 🏔️✨💛

Fun fact: Sean gave me a toblerone chocolate bar for our first Christmas together when we were 15 years old. I thought it was random but cute. Now here we are….13 years together and almost 9 years married with a toblerone right infront of the actual Matterhorn 🥲🍫

I got to experience gluten free fondue in Zermatt!! I was ecstatic to say the least and in heaven. SO yummy and worth every penny (and probably the most expensive thing we did our whole trip LOL)

This hike ruined every other hike for me 🏔️🌸☁️✨

I genuinely don’t think I have the words to explain what it felt like to be here. It was breathtaking in a way that felt spiritual. The kind of beauty that makes you feel hopeful for what’s ahead, grateful for the valleys lows of life (pun intended), and most importantly, reminds you that God is truly real. That He is an incredible Creator, who made all of this beauty and somehow chose to create us too but in His image.

From the views of waterfalls cascading down the Alps, the bluest alpine lake that was waiting to be dipped into after, wildflowers covering the trails, the cows wandering through the mountains, and taking it all in right next to the love of my life, it felt like the closest place to Heaven 💛

And now… every hike has a lot to live up to.

Lauterbrunnen, you were straight out of a fairytale book (pun intended) 📖✨🏔️💛

If you didn’t know, J.R.R. Tolkien (author of The Hobbit & Lord of the Rings) was inspired by this exact valley when he was hiking through Switzerland in 1911 before writing the series. It was dream come true to visit here!! Just wish we had more time here buuuut it just gives us another excuse to come back 🤭
