This is the first video in an ongoing tapping series — one theme at a time: abundance, self-acceptance, letting go of limiting beliefs, fear, and more.

Manifestation doesn't start with wanting more. It starts with feeling whole.
This is a short EFT tapping practice to help shift from a place of lack into a place of fullness — because that's where real receiving happens.
This is the first video in an ongoing tapping series — one theme at a time: abundance, self-acceptance, letting go of limiting beliefs, fear, and more. Follow along if you want to work through them with me.
Save this for whenever the fear of "not enough" creeps back in. 🌿

Have you heard of EFT (tapping)?

It's a technique that combines:
→ Stimulating specific acupressure points
→ Naming what's present (an emotion, a thought, a sensation)

The idea: we don't force positivity. We name what's here first — even the discomfort — then tap on specific points while saying it out loud.

This helps the nervous system "digest" an emotion instead of suppressing it or getting overwhelmed by it.

I've been using EFT since my own therapy work back in 2017, and I'm about to launch a short series to show you how to bring it into your daily life, simply.

Here's what we'll be tapping through:
→ Abundance & releasing money blocks
→ Self-acceptance
→ Letting go of limiting beliefs
→ Fear
→ and more coming...

Are you interested in EFT, what topics would you like me to cover?
Let me know in the comments — it'll help me know where to start the series 🤍

I used to think stimming was something to hide.

Turns out, it was something I needed. 🌀

Swapping jaw-clenching or hair-twirling for a fidget toy changed how I feel by the end of the day — less tension, less nervous energy stuck with nowhere to go.

If you stim too, I see you.
It's not a red flag.
It's regulation.

I used to think being "reliable" was a compliment.

Turns out it just meant I was really good at hiding how tired I actually was.

Smiling through meetings while running on empty. Answering messages
fast so nobody would notice anything was off.
Keeping my face calm while my
whole nervous system was doing
something completely different underneath.

For years I called that professionalism.

It wasn't. It was masking.

Burnout doesn't always look like falling apart. Sometimes it looks
like the person who never misses a deadline.

If this sounds familiar — save this. You'll need it the next time
you start doubting whether you're actually okay. 🤍

The most dangerous thing you can be in corporate is the person who makes everything look easy.

I spent a decade being that person. I was the one who caught the errors, smoothed over the tension, and delivered the work with a smile that suggested I had it all under control. I had mastered the art of the "competent face"—a precise mask that told my bosses I was thriving, while my internal world was fraying.

I remember a Tuesday afternoon where I spent an hour meticulously formatting a slide deck, my heart racing for no reason, feeling a physical weight in my chest that made it hard to swallow. But when the call started, I switched on. I was articulate. I was helpful. I was "fine."

The cost of that performance is a specific kind of loneliness. When you are too good at hiding the struggle, people stop checking in. They assume your competence is effortless, so they keep piling on more.

I wasn't being rewarded for my skill; I was being rewarded for my ability to suffer in silence without disrupting the flow of the office.

It is an exhausting way to build a career.

You eventually realize that being indispensable is just another word for being trapped...

There is a quiet grief in releasing perfectionism.

It can feel like laying down an old spell — one that once protected you, even as it demanded so much in return.

For many neurodivergent women, perfectionism became a kind of armor.

A way to stay safe, to be chosen, to avoid harm, to keep belonging just within reach.

So when you begin to loosen its hold, something tender often rises: grief for the self who had to try so hard, and grief for the years spent under its weight.

Healing asks us to honor that grief, not rush past it.
To thank the part of us that believed perfection was the way home.

And to remember: you were never meant to earn your worth through exhaustion.

Save this for a tender moment of reflection, and share it with someone walking away from perfectionism.

5 shadow-work exercises for neurodivergent women

Shadow work can be a gentle way to meet the parts of yourself you’ve been taught to hide, silence, or judge.

For neurodivergent women, this often includes the parts that are “too much,” too sensitive, too intense, too tired, too honest, or too inconsistent.

Try these 5 exercises:

1. Name your inner critic
Write down the harsh phrases you tell yourself, then ask: whose voice does this sound like?

2. Track what triggers shame
Notice when you feel embarrassed, guilty, or “not enough.” What situation, demand, or expectation was underneath it?
Write to the part of you that is exhausted
Let that part speak without fixing it. What does it need? What is it afraid of?
Notice your mask
When do you perform, people-please, or hide your needs? What are you afraid would happen if you stopped?
Meet the part you reject
Think of one trait you judge in yourself. What might it actually be protecting?
Shadow work is not about becoming perfect. It’s about becoming more honest, more compassionate, and more whole.

Healing from burnout isn’t only about resting more.

It’s also about rebuilding a life that your nervous system can actually live in.

For me, Somatic Experiencing has been incredibly useful for regulation.

It helps me notice what my body is carrying, release tension little by little, and come back to a steadier place without forcing myself to “think” my way out of overwhelm.

I’ve also learned that regulation can come from small supports:
going on walks using AI to outsource some cognitive load coloring or drawing creating tiny rituals, like having an ice cream after therapy each week

These may seem small, but they matter. Healing is not only about big breakthroughs — it’s also about repeated moments of safety, ease, and relief.

You don’t need to rebuild everything at once.

Start with what helps your body feel a little more supported today.

Save this post if you’re building your own healing routine, and comment with one small thing that helps you regulate.

For many neurodivergent women, masking becomes second nature.

You learn to look “fine,” stay helpful, stay productive, stay pleasant, and keep going even when you’re running on empty.

But constant performance is exhausting.
And resting can feel strangely uncomfortable — not because you don’t need it, but because guilt shows up fast.

There’s always the feeling that something is waiting: an email, a task, a message, a responsibility, a problem to solve. So even when your body is asking for rest, your mind stays on alert.

Healing means noticing that pressure and slowly loosening your grip on it. You do not have to earn rest by being fully finished. You do not have to be available all the time.

You do not have to keep performing to deserve care.

Unmasking is not about becoming less capable. It’s about becoming less exhausted.

And you? Did you notice your mask and your pressure to perform?
