Dear Sanapurna Family,

This summer, I turned 50, a beautiful milestone that made me pause and reflect on the 15 years we have built Sanapurna together.

I found myself thinking of all the faces, shared breaths, quiet breakthroughs, and conversations that have filled this space over the years.

Sanapurna has never been just a studio. It has been a home, a space for connection, growth, and practice. And so much of what it has become is because of you.

Thank you for being such an important part of this journey. My promise is to keep showing up, teaching, and holding a grounded and loving space for your practice.

With love and gratitude,
Poonam

Pose of the week: Urdhva Dhanurasana - Wheel Pose, also commonly called Chakrasana.

A pose of opening, strength, and perspective.

There is something powerful about turning the world upside down.

In Wheel Pose, the body creates a wide, open arc. The heart lifts, the chest expands, the arms and legs ground you, and suddenly you are seeing the world from a completely different place.

It takes strength to open like this.
But it also takes trust.

Trust in your body.
Trust in your breath.
Trust that you can create space where, at first, there seems to be none.

Yoga often asks us to do the same beyond the mat. To pause, change our perspective, soften where we can, and find strength where we need it.

Urdhva Dhanurasana reminds us that opening is not about forcing. It is about creating enough stability to let yourself expand.

That is the beauty of practice. There is always another layer to discover, another way to breathe, another perspective waiting to be seen.

Come practise with us at Sanapurna, and discover what opens when you give yourself the space to explore.

Ayurveda has always understood that women’s health deserves its own attention, care and wisdom.

From everyday wellbeing to the different phases and transitions of a woman’s life, Ayurveda offers a holistic approach that looks beyond individual symptoms and towards the person as a whole.

This can be a beautiful time to slow down, listen to your body and explore simple ways to bring more balance into your everyday life. Especially during the warmer months, giving yourself space to rest, reset and reconnect can make a meaningful difference.

At Sanapurna, we believe Ayurveda is not just something you turn to when something feels wrong. It can become a way of understanding your body, supporting your wellbeing and creating a more balanced life.

Come and discover what Ayurveda can do for you.

What if understanding yourself could be the first step towards changing your life?

Why do we behave the way we do?
Why do we keep repeating certain patterns?
And how can we create meaningful change in our lives?

Through the wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda, the chakras and doṣhas offer a deeper way to understand ourselves, our energy, emotions, tendencies and patterns. And sometimes, small shifts in awareness can create a big difference in the way we live.

Join Poonam & Tom for Chakra & Dosha Mastery, a transformational 2-day retreat exploring the connection between subtle energy, constitution and inner balance.

Over two days, you’ll explore the 7 chakras and 3 doṣhas, alongside yoga, pranayama, meditation, reflection and practical Ayurvedic wisdom. You’ll also learn to prepare a nourishing Ayurvedic lunch with Alexandra.

Whether you’re a yoga teacher, a committed practitioner, or simply curious to understand yourself on a deeper level, this weekend is an invitation to slow down, explore and reconnect.

Sometimes, all it takes is a little curiosity to experience something familiar in a completely new way. Be a tourist in your own city notice the places you pass every day, slow down, and appreciate them as if you’re seeing them for the first time.

And perhaps we can bring the same attitude to our yoga practice. Even a posture we’ve practised countless times can feel different when we approach it with fresh eyes, an open heart and the curiosity of a beginner.

Join Lori every Friday at Sanapurna and rediscover your practice with a new perspective. 🧘‍♀️
