ASP Learning Lab is your best teacher when it comes to CME in the field of patient safety, infection prevention, and sterilization of medical devices with low-temperature sterilization methods. Our third webinar, "Rethinking the processing of medical devices: Why switch from high-level disinfection to sterilization?", was hosted by Sylvie Dufresne, PhD, and Melanie Marshall, RN, and explored the limitations of high-level disinfection, the challenges of flexible endoscope reprocessing, and the potential role of sterilization when technically feasible.
