A few weeks ago, we received a patient we will call Peter at the Epiphanie Psychiatric Center.

Peter's sister: "Madam, I hope you have strong chains⛓️here, he is extremely violent, he doesn't sleep, he doesn't listen to anyone..."

Me: "It's noted, madame. Please let me complete Mr. Peter's assessment and we will discuss the best way to manage him."

Me to Mr. Peter: "Mr. Peter, I'd like us to talk, but I suggest you let me help you have a good bath first. Is that okay with you?"

Mr. Peter: "I want to eat"

Me: "Please, Nurse, kindly serve food to Mr. Peter before his bath."

Me to the nurse: "Serve food to Mr. Peter before his bath."

Note that after Mr. Peter ate, we bathed and shaved him. During the bath, we noticed his legs were full of jiggers. We proceeded with the removal of the jiggers and wound care, after which he slept deeply till morning without the need for any sleeping pills.
