Product Introduction
Galactooligosaccharides are a mixture of oligosaccharides produced from lactose by the action of β-galactosidase. They consist of galactose molecules linked to the galactose portion of lactose via β(1→4), β(1→6), and β(1→3) glycosidic bonds. Their molecular formula is (galactose)ₙ-glucose.
