Happy to announce that I’ll be presenting at HARMONICS 2026 — the International Conference on Music, Medicine & Science — October 28–29 at UC Irvine.
“Resonance as Medicine: Somatic Sound in Psychedelic-Assisted Care” will be an experiential presentation on the main stage, and I’ll be talking about / demonstrating my approach within a clinical context, and how vibration can help the nervous system within the arc of preparation, experience, and integration.
Every culture has used sound as part of healing practices for as long as we know. This is a room full of physicians, researchers, therapeutic sound & music practitioners, and artists sharing about what that may mean in these modern contexts.
I’ll be presenting on the second day. Info on the second slide, if you want to be there.

I joined Too Curious MDs with Dr. Alya Ahmad and Dr. Simi Rahman to talk about how ONDO came to be, somatic sound, preparation and integration, and the work I do with Pala Medicine in Pasadena.

Two days on a staff retreat with a school’s faculty, offering some nervous system reset before the year kicks in.
ONDO wove in somatic sound through both days: semi-private sessions where colleagues were offered vibrational sessions in pairs, a morning movement & meditation practice between meetings, and a full group sound bath to close the second day.
From the head of school: “it helped people get out of their heads, if only for a moment.”
Which was the whole intention. This kind of retreat collaboration is a chance to stop, drop in, and simply be together.

For ONDO as a practice, I’ve held a stance on no online sessions and very limited online recordings. The physicality of sound moving through a room and through our bodies, in real time, has been central to this work.
Live, somatic experience!

But I also acknowledge that the act of intentional listening — the deliberate act of giving your full attention to sound — has real value regardless of the source. A recording made with care, received with presence, is another tool for practice. Presence takes many forms — including rest.
