Addiction recovery is a process, and different stages require different levels of support. We also believe no single provider can meet every need. Recovery works best when professionals and organizations collaborate, communicate, and create strong transitions between levels of care. The Aftercare and Alumni services will connect you with the best path forward.

Outpatient vs. Residential Treatment: What’s the Difference?

Choosing the right level of care matters.✨

Outpatient treatment may be a good fit when someone:

☑️Has a stable and safe home environment
☑️Can attend therapy or groups while living at home
☑️Has strong family or community support
☑️Needs structure, but not 24/7 care
☑️Is medically and emotionally stable

Residential treatment may be a better fit when someone:

✅Needs to step away from triggers or a toxic environment
✅Requires daily structure and support
✅Needs privacy and space to fully focus on healing
✅Has struggled to stay sober at home
✅Needs a deeper reset for long-term recovery

A huge milestone for Costa Rica Recovery! 🎉

We recently hosted our very first workshop at Universidad Fidélitas, focusing on a crucial topic: the role of the family in addiction recovery. It was incredible to bring together professionals, educators, and community members to dive deep into codependency, family dynamics, healthy boundaries, and practical support strategies. 🤝✨

Through this unique program, we are bringing high-level addiction education directly to families, professionals, universities, and communities. Together, we are changing the conversation around addiction and breaking down the stigma.
