And don't forget that with getting closer to menopause or being 'in it' we women (and men too actually) need a lot more protein and strength training to prevent muscle loss and hormone disbalance, staying fit and healthy.

Don't eat less, or do a lot of intense hours of cardio, especially when you are not doing any strength training. You will literally 'eat' your muscle instead of your fat, which makes you weaker and more out of balance.

Give them colour. 🌈

Organic cucumber, papaya, avocado, apple and grapes (those last 3 aren't organic unfortunately, but I am searching for ways to get more organic fruit ).

My daughter (9) absolutely loves this. No pressure, no rules — just a plate full of natural colours… and she feasts.

Being a mom doesn’t have to be complicated.

And honestly? I love it too. Because those colours do more than just look pretty —
