Not every “hard spot” on the foot is just dry skin 👣

Plantar wart is a rough growth on the sole of the foot caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) entering through a cut or an opening to the skin. They often feel like having a callus - hard skin, and may show tiny black dots (clotted blood vessels) in the center.

Always check for a proper diagnosis that can lead you to the correct treatment.

Η σωστή υποστήριξη της καμάρας (arch support) και η πρόληψη των φουσκαλών είναι το "κλειδί" για άνετο περπάτημα, ειδικά τώρα που ανοίγει ο καιρός και περπατάμε περισσότερο.

Μερικά tips για την άνοιξη:
✨Arch Support: Βεβαιωθείτε ότι τα παπούτσια σας δεν είναι τελείως επίπεδα (flat) για να αποφύγετε πόνους στην πτέρνα ή πελματιαία απονευρωσίτιδα.
✨Πρόληψη φουσκαλών: Επιλέξτε κάλτσες που διώχνουν τον ιδρώτα (όχι βαμβακερές) και χρησιμοποιήστε ειδικά σπρέι ή sticks πρόληψης στα σημεία τριβής.
✨Αερισμός: Προτιμήστε παπούτσια από διαπνέοντα υλικά για να μένουν τα πόδια στεγνά.
