BSc Biology Thereafter, I earned my Medical Doctor’s Degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Victor Babes, Romania in 2011. I then taught first year medical students at the St. George’s Medical School in Nicosia, Cyprus from 2013 until 2
016 as a Clinical Skills Tutor. During this time, I continued my higher education at the University of Nicosia, Cyprus and completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2016. After a series of strict examinations I became an official Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (International) in 2019. Thereafter, I pursued my Specialization in Family Medicine at various hospitals all over Cyprus and earned my Specialty Title in General Practice and Family Medicine from the Greek Medical Association in 2020. I started my Master’s Degree in Aesthetic Medicine and Therapeutics in 2020 and presented my thesis about “PROFHILO: Properties and Clinical Applications” in 2022. Currently I am working towards obtaining my Professional Certification in Clinical Dermatology from the University College Dublin, Ireland. I have also completed my Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine by the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine in 2021 and have attended numerous hands-on workshops using aesthetic medical procedures and applications, such as “Artistic Facial Transformation” and “Advanced Masterclass in Facial Contouring” from Derma Medical in 2022. Most recently, I am proud to announce that I have obtained the title of International Trainer in APTOS threadlifting methods, October 2023. Nowadays I am actively treating patients at my private medical practice in Nicosia, Cyprus using injectable hyaluronic acid and collagen biostimulators, botulinum toxin, chemical peels, mesotherapy as well as CO2 laser skin resurfacing. My published articles include “Abdominal vasculitis – a lupus complication not to be missed.” Joseph Joseph, Diana Vulcanescu, Louis Loizou, Polis Pilavas. Rheumatology, Vol 55, April 2016, p. I am passionate about medicine, traditional and aesthetic, and love keeping up to date with the latest guidelines as well as medical procedures. This way, I can ensure my patients have access to the best care possible with safety and efficacy in mind. My patients' health and wellbeing is and will always be my top priority!
