The Hospital of Near East University is an affiliated institution of the Near East University, the largest university of Cyprus which is located in Nicosia, capital of North Cyprus. North Cyprus is known as a heavenly corner of world with its unique cultural, historical heritage and natural beauties that inspired even the most famous works of Shakespeare and Leonardo Da Vinci. The university was
established in 1988 and with 16 faculties it is the only university with Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Health Sciences faculties on the island. The Near East University Hospital, which also stands out as a training and research hospital with its advanced infrastructure since its establishment in 2010, is the first and only private university hospital in Cyprus. Designed and built with a future-oriented structure and equipped with the latest and most sophisticated medical technology, it offers extensive medical services with its highly experienced specialist staff to patients from all over the world. The services of Hospital of Near East University are conducted within a complex comprising over 56,000 square-meter indoor area including 209 private, single patient rooms, 8 operating theatres, 30-bed Intensive Care Unit, 17 bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, an advanced laboratory where a wide array of medical and experimental tests can be carried out, a cutting-edge diognostic imaging center, the most comprehensive surgical department performing operations in neurosurgery, microsurgery and cardiovascular issues, a dental hospital and the most advanced Radiotheraphy Centre of the Eastern Mediterranean region equipped with Rapic Arc Technology. In consideration with the diverse needs of the international patients, an “International Patients Centre” is in charge of all sort of needs of patients coming from abroad. This unit makes all sort of arrangements and meets the medical and social needs of international patients and their companions, providing service in their native language. All the doctors of NEU Hospital speaks English and translators are available for Russian, Arabic, French, German and Urdu. Other languages are available upon request.
