How my severe anger issues disappeared! 🌬
When I started my Ta**ra journey at 18, I was just about to finish my high school diploma.
I had always enjoyed going to school, except for the last three years, the upper grades. Those years changed me.
I couldn’t really find my place in my class, kept getting into conflicts with my classmates, and especially one girl made it her mission to make my life miserable and turn others against me. She was very popular, and suddenly, I became the outsider. What started as just a lack of sympathy grew into deep hatred inside me. I hated her, and I hated every day I had to go to school. I hated my class and my life.
It went so far that I told my friends from my hometown that I wanted to live on a lonely island, and that humanity should just die out.
I was a constantly annoyed, very impatient, and angry person when my then-boyfriend signed me up for a Ta**ra workshop in Berlin. I had no idea what it would be about, but thanks to my naivety, I just went along with it.
The workshop hoster became my teacher, and the Ta**ra training became my first education after high school.
What a leap from being a student in the small, very conservative village where I grew up to becoming a Ta**ra Lady!
But it was mostly a leap from my hate-filled, deeply depressed self to a loving and compassionate woman who began to reconnect with other people, with life, and of course, with herself.
My teacher explained to me back then that Ta**ra is much less about techniques and more about the inner attitude. That you don’t meet your counterpart from your own ego – which judges and divides things into good and bad – but from the Higher Self, which accepts the other person as they are today and recognizes and appreciates their beauty and purity.
You look at them with love, as if you had created this wonderful being yourself.
At that time, I understood what he was saying on a rational level, but a deeper understanding only developed through practice. I’ll never forget how light and happy I felt when I gave my first massages and cultivated this new attitude in my interactions with people. It was such a liberating and uplifting feeling!
Wow, I felt like I belonged again for the first time in a very long time.
I realized that back then, I was constantly judging my classmates, separating myself from them, and contributing to the fact that we were always against each other instead of being with and for each other.
I cried and laughed a lot when all the hate was able to be released and flew out of me.
I became a more patient and compassionate version of myself and the relationships with my family and friends improved tremendously.
Most of all, one person benefits every single moment from it: Me!
Today, it’s so much more fun to be myself and to embrace life!
Loving encounters can change you and give you a new point of view, a fresh one, a light one 🙏
