The title isn’t the guarantee. The ring isn’t the guarantee. The vows and promises aren’t the guarantee. And even though there aren’t any human guarantees, we certainly know that continually investing in your relationship, pouring into it, having conversation, knowing each others individual and relational goals, and remembering to continue to get to know your ever evolving partner through different chapters of life is certainly an important way to nurture your relationship.
