My heart is filled with joy and gratitude for all the amazing souls I had the privilege to share this transformative journey with.
I spent more than a year preparing for this pilgrimage, only to have my plans interrupted by spinal surgery. Three months after the operation, I was back on track, doing everything I could to rebuild my strength and prepare for the challenge ahead.
Yet while you can prepare physically, nothing can truly prepare you for what unfolds emotionally.
The kora around Mount Kailash is an experience I will carry with me forever. The deep spiritual devotion that surrounded us, the kindness and warmth of the Tibetan people, the breathtaking landscapes, and the profound sense of connection touched my heart in ways I can hardly put into words.
This was not an easy journey. The kora was physically demanding—without a doubt one of the toughest challenges I have ever undertaken. High-altitude sickness affected several members of our group, and not everyone was able to complete the kora. There were difficult moments, uncertainty, exhaustion, and tears. But there was also compassion, encouragement, and support. We helped one another every step of the way, and that made all the difference.
This journey reminded me that strength is not only about reaching the destination. It is about showing up, accepting what is, helping others when they need it, and allowing yourself to be helped when you need it too.
I return home with a grateful heart, unforgettable memories, and the feeling that a part of me will always remain on the sacred path around Mount Kailash. 🙏🏔️✨ OM TARE
