She is one of them – in a way, she will always be a little bit “our child” too, because her story began here, at our clinic. It fills us with immense joy and pride to see the wonderful child she has become from that once so deeply hoped-for little embryo. ✨

And it makes us even happier to follow her journey and see all the amazing things she has achieved since then. Her talent, determination, and accomplishments bring a smile to our faces again and again. 🥰

For three long years in Canada, we hoped.🤞
We tried.
We waited.
Month after month, appointment after appointment, shot after shot, we walked the difficult road of fertility treatments — holding onto faith, even when the results didn’t come. It was exhausting, heartbreaking, and at times incredibly lonely. But we never stopped believing that somehow, our baby would find her way to us.
After many setbacks, we made the life-changing decision to seek help at IVF Zlín.
Even before we arrived we felt hope, and excitement. The care we received from IVF Zlin far exceeded what we had received in Canada. And, with the support of our extraordinary medical team, and the most selfless gift from our amazing egg donor, everything changed.
Just over a year later, we welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Héylo, into the world.
She is our beautiful medical miracle.
She is our joy.
She is the answer to every tear, every injection, every sleepless night, and every whispered prayer.

Last weekend, we marked World Embryologist Day.
On 25 July 1978, Louise Brown, the world's first baby conceived through IVF, was born. A milestone that forever changed reproductive medicine and brought hope to millions of couples around the world.
In the first photo is our physician, MUDr. Stanislav Los Chovanec, who met Louise Brown in 2017 during a scientific congress in the USA.
In the second photo are people whose names many patients may never know. Yet it is their daily dedication, patience, and precision that help turn the dream of having a family into reality. Our team of embryologists.
Their work takes place behind the doors of the laboratory, often away from patients' eyes. Nevertheless, their expertise, care, and experience are among the key factors in helping patients achieve their dream of becoming parents.

Our fertility journey was filled with many challenges. ❤️
Our fertility journey was filled with many challenges, including four IVF cycles that didn’t go as hoped. It was an emotional and difficult time, but we didn’t give up.
Traveling from Canada to the Czech Republic was a big step for us, and it ultimately led to the greatest gift—we welcomed our perfect little girl, Audrey.
From the very beginning, the clinic and staff were incredibly kind, compassionate, and supportive. Despite the time difference, they always responded to our messages so quickly, which brought us so much comfort during such an emotional time. We never felt alone in the process—they were with us every step of the way.
Thanks to their care and expertise, we were finally able to get pregnant and welcome our perfect little girl. We will always be grateful, and we hope our story can give hope to others still on their journey.

We had wanted a family for many years. ❤️
We had wanted a family for many years prior, going through many IUIs and IVFs with resilience and strength, but also along with many points of grief and deep heartache.
Slowly along the journey we started to care less and less about how we got a baby in our life and came to the final option of utilizing donor embryos without any hesitation.
Thankfully with this decision we got to meet the most beautiful angel we could have asked for. We did not expect this final chance to work out ultimately but were surprised that it did.
IVF Zlin made this possible for us as they had many options not available in Canada at all. We will be forever grateful.

A miracle happened a year ago. ❤️
Today marks one year since our successful embryo transfer at the Zlín clinic – a day that changed our lives forever.
After four years filled with hope, disappointment, and unsuccessful attempts, we had almost stopped believing that our greatest wish would ever come true. Due to diminished ovarian reserve, we decided to undergo treatment with donor eggs. And thanks to this path, specifically our second donor, we were given a chance that turned into the most beautiful gift.
Throughout the entire journey, we were met with empathy, support, and genuine care. The atmosphere at the clinic felt almost like family, which meant so much to us during such a challenging and emotionally exhausting time.
Today, we hold our daughter in our arms and look back with gratitude on everyone who was part of our journey. The clinic, our donors, and the entire team will forever be part of our story and remain in our hearts.
For us, this date is more than just the anniversary of a successful transfer – it is a day we celebrate alongside our daughter’s birthday.
