This week, colleagues from across SternVitamin came together to take a step back from the day-to-day business, reflect on where we are today and exchange fresh perspectives and new ideas.

As our company continues to grow, creating space for open dialogue and cross-functional collaboration remains important.

Dr. Matthias Moser, Managing Director of the Food Ingredients Division, opened the day by highlighting the value of bringing different departments together. As he put it, combining diverse experiences and perspectives helps us not only learn from one another, but also challenge our thinking and continue developing as one team. It is this kind of collaboration, open dialogue, and willingness to learn from one another that creates new perspectives and drives continuous improvement.

Karl Chang, our Managing Director, who initiated this day, reinforced this message, adding: "The journey ahead is a shared one, and we want to shape that journey together and, more importantly, live it together."

Ultimately, these conversations are not just about us. They help us strengthen the way we work together so that we can continue to be a reliable, solution-oriented partner for our customers.

What stood out most was the openness of the discussions, the willingness to listen to different viewpoints and the shared ambition to keep improving together.

Strong businesses are built by strong teams, and days like these are a great reminder that our greatest strength lies in the people behind the business.

This is exactly why local collaboration is so important to us. Recently we focused on the rapidly growing Middle East & Africa
(MEA) region, one of the most dynamic regions for health and nutrition solutions.

Our Area Sales Manager, Hagen Bachsmann, and our Regional Commercial Director, Kerstin Woldsen, had the pleasure of meeting with Özkan Kaplan, Senem Tulumcu and Cenk Engin from the Stern Ingredients Turkey team.

As consumer needs, health priorities and market expectations continue to evolve, close partnerships with local teams enable us to understand regional needs and transform these insights into scientifically sound, market-oriented vitamin and mineral premix solutions tailored to the region.

Great conversations, valuable exchange and many new connections at Vitafoods Europe 2026 in Barcelona.

It was a pleasure to meet partners, customers and industry experts from around the world and discuss current trends, ideas and innovations shaping the future of nutrition. One topic that appeared across the exhibition halls was longevity, and we were happy to share our latest premix concept with visitors at our stand.

A special highlight for us was celebrating our 20th anniversary at Vitafoods together. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and made this event such a great experience.

As the new cycling season begins and spring brings fresh momentum, we are proud to support Team Rynkeby on their journey for a meaningful cause. By cycling thousands of kilometres, they raise funds and awareness to help seriously ill children, collecting donations for the German Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Through our support of this project, we are pleased to contribute to research that offers many families hope for a healthier future.

We believe in taking social responsibility seriously and are grateful to support initiatives that create real impact and inspire positive change.

𝗦𝗔𝗬 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗘𝗦𝗘 or better, say plant based cheese alternative 🧀 🌱

Plant based dairy alternatives continue to grow in popularity. Taste and mouthfeel are getting closer and closer to their animal based originals. One challenge, however, often remains: the micronutrient profile.

Cheese, for example, naturally provides valuable micronutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin B12, calcium and zinc. Plant based alternatives usually cannot match this profile on their own.

But there is a solution: fortification.

Our premix helps close that gap and approach the nutritional values of regular cheese. It contains vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B12, calcium and zinc and enables the declaration of several approved health claims.

Natural plant-based products and the targeted addition of essential micronutrients reinforces the perception of plant-based foods as real, nourishing, and trustworthy foods, rather than highly processed substitutes.
