Today we are proud to recognize Ms. Stephanie Lyons, a Clinical Counselor with the Department of Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder Clinical Care (SUDCC) at Baumholder Army Health Clinic.
Stephanie plays a vital role in supporting the readiness and well-being of our military community by providing substance use disorder clinical care. Whether a service member is seeking information about substances and their effects or is ready to begin a journey toward recovery, Stephanie and the SUDCC team are dedicated to helping individuals achieve their highest level of physical, social, and psychological health.
What motivates Stephanie most is the opportunity to give back to the community while working alongside colleagues who share a passion for serving and supporting our military population. She takes great pride in her team’s commitment to meeting clients where they are, empowering them to reach their goals, and providing compassionate, individualized care every step of the way.
Many patients may not realize the complexity of the work involved in mental health care. Every day brings new challenges, unique situations, and opportunities to learn and grow. Stephanie embraces this constant evolution, continually adapting her skills and knowledge to provide the best possible care for those she serves.
When she’s not caring for patients, Stephanie enjoys exploring Europe. Her favorite destination so far has been Greece, which she describes as a peaceful and beautiful place to reset the mind, body, and spirit.
Thank you, Ms. Lyons, for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to the health and readiness of our Baumholder community. Your work makes a lasting difference every day.
