Have a lovely day, folks! 🧸I met Sophia when she was about 2.6kg little bean, 6 days after a C-section. Now she is a proud 3.6kg happy and calm burrito baby 🌯🐥. I love watching "my" babies grow and thrive.

Hello baby! 🐣 I was honoured to be a part of this earthside journey as one of Olivia's two birth partners (yay end of Corona restrictions!).
Her husband Matt was an amazing support, holding Olivia gently but firmly throughout the labor, whispering words of encouragement in their love language.

Little Kaia came earthside wasting no time. Healthy and strong, she saw the sun rays at 10:50 in the morning, after less than 6 hours of labor, in the pre-labor room of the Auguste-Viktoria-Klinikum in Berlin Schöneberg. We didn't even make it to the proper labor room!
The midwives were wonderful - warm, supportive and present. Birth had no medical interventions. Even with Kaia being Olivia's first baby, there was not even one stitch needed! The perineum was intact, guarded by the midwives warm compresses and slow pushing stage.

It was exhilarating to see a loving and intimate support of the loved one together with my helping hands and being. It was also one of rare moments when the midwife-doula cooperation was a dream come true. Full of appreciation, understanding of each others role and respect.
