Some thoughts about my slow re-connection:
Here goes...I have (as many people do) a very mixed relationship with Instagram. I find it a very useful tool to be able to connect with people and love that it can help me to be inspired by others. I don't like the way it sucks you in creating a mindless scrolling mode, which is exactly the opposite of how I like to live my life.
As someone who also looks at Instagram as a way to spread my purpose, mission and passion for helping people re-connect with themselves, find balance and mindfulness in their lives, have a deeper sense of a mind-body connection and to ultimately live their lives in alignment with who they are, sometimes the joy of posting gets diminished by the thought that my post will get lost in the abyss. It's sometimes feels like, "What's the point?".
There are many professionals who do an amazing job at helping people grow their account and reach their target group and I am so happy for them that they are able to grow those account and reach so many people.
I personally do not want to be dictated by an algorithm as to how often I need to post in order to be seen or that I need to have x amount of followers in order to make a difference. I want to stay true to who I am and trust my intuition that whatever content I feel needs to be shared on any particular day will reach whoever needs to hear it.
That being said, I will find a posting rhthym that feels aligned with what I feel could be useful, inspirational or even just allow for a moment of breath. If you feel like you could use a certain type of information or inspiration, let me know. I'm listening.
I am open to connecting to any and all who are on their journey of inner healing, self-love, re-establishing a sense of balance and finding our way to live this life we have in the most present way possible.
There are no hidden agendas here. Simply sharing from the heart to the universe (and Instagram) and all those who may benefit from my words.
Sending heart-felt and honest vibes your way.
Hugs,
Danielle
