Ayurvedic Yoga Massage

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage is a powerful bodywork-method that opens and aligns the body, releases tension and induces a deep sense of relaxation and renewed energy. Sometimes it´s like walking on unknown ground, the main purpose is to create space. It is a way of bringing you to places within your body where you might have never been before, of letting you know about the possibilities that reside in you, to let you hear a call from the far corners of this huge space you are, just to show you the capacity that lives in your body, the capacity to heal and to love, and what a gift it is to have this body. It increases the flexibility, the range of motion and enhances the circulation of all body liquids. Gradually a sense of openness and presence is brought to the receiver. It can work on many levels, physical, emotional, mental and energetic. The method was developed by a beautiful Indian lady, Master Kusum Modak in Pune, India after many years of studying Therapeutic Massage and Iyengar Yoga. Treatments combine deep pressure oil massage, breathing and assisted yoga stretches. A Massage lasts usually between 60 – 90 minutes and involves a whole body massage, with emphasis on the areas that need more healing. Another tool is the use of Calamus powder, mixed with oil it brings out the toxins from the body and activates the blood circulation.
