Nina Kim is a Reiki Master Teacher, 500+ hour Certified Massage Therapist, Mindfulness Teacher and Founder of Psychedelic Reiki Massage & the Visionary School of Reiki who began her healing journey in 2011 after a near-death bicycle accident brought her to search deep within. Communing with the expanse of stillness and the depth of touch and intention, Reiki helped her overcome PTSD and inspired h

er to spread the wisdom that the power to heal is literally in our hands.

Trained in the San Francisco Bay Area, she uses Swedish (slow, long strokes), deep-tissue, acupressure and trigger point therapy massage modalities integrated with intuitive wisdom, chakra balancing & Reiki to help facilitate healing on a holistic level.

Reiki is a simple yet profound mode of energy healing that promotes deep relaxation, awareness and restoration of balance in the body, mind and spirit, especially when there are energetic blockages or your ki (energy) is low. I incorporate Reiki healing energy in all of my massages, which I call Psychedelic Reiki Massage.

It is my own unique, self-created modality that has been inspired by all of my training, intuitive guidance and healing, psychedelic & life experiences. It is a massage infused with Reiki, which can bring you to an altered state of consciousness, and this exploration can manifest in:

° An elevated or transcendent state
° A visually enhanced and/or extrasensorial experience and/or
° A psychotherapeutic experience

It is in these altered realms, I believe there is the highest potential for the deepest and most complete healing. The synergy of Reiki and massage expands the benefits of alleviating stress & tension and decreasing pain by also helping to balance energy systems, restore harmony and offer greater clarity & insight.

Very many congratulations to the July 2026 Visionary School of Reiki Reiki 1 Practitioners! 🥳🎊🎈🎉🤗🙌✨💓🌀

With our 4th participant unexpectedly falling ill on the weekend (she is now OK, thankfully! 🙏), the four of us shared an intimate weekend with very spacious time for not only exploring questions, insights & practice but also connecting with one another 💜
⠀
We discussed how we have to be absolutely discerning on who we allow to touch us, especially in a healing session context ✨ How just because we’re a Reiki practitioner, doesn’t mean we *have* to give Reiki to anyone at any time — discernment & being aware of our own capacity are essential!

How people practicing ‘Reiki’ with ill or manipulative intentions are not practicing Reiki at all because true Reiki can only be activated by a pure & loving intention 💓 How we don’t have to direct Reiki anywhere or ‘do’ anything — Reiki has its innate wisdom & will flow where it needs to 🌊

It was a truly beautiful Course before my Summer Break & a wonderful note to end on for the 1st half of Courses for the year 🥰

The level of integrity & dedication VR3 Master Practitioners arrive with always deeply humbles & inspires me 💓 With at least 1 year of practice between VR2 & VR3, they honor that Reiki Master is so much more than a title but rather an embodiment of the practice & a way of being ✨

We shared many rich discussions about the weariness of integrity & need for deep discernment in ‘spiritual’ spaces, especially with so many fast-track ‘trainings’ with no regulation handing out titles with hardly any practice or integration… it can become a really dangerous space for the client! 😳

I appreciated that each participant really took the time to reflect on if they felt ‘ready.’ Are we ever truly ready tho? 😜 Most importantly, they followed what felt resonant 💫

We talked about how anger is a mobilizing energy & essential but not to be consumed by it 🔥; how to navigate the atrocities (they’ve always existed, but now we’re more exposed) 📱; how to navigate session boundaries especially with friends 🫂; to be a rooted tree amidst the winds of life 🌳; & how we’re not individually going to save the world in 1 fell swoop but rather by the little inspirations we offer, even if it’s as simple as a peaceful presence 🧘

Starting with the Visionary Reiki Share at our Holographic Healing Nest Monday to fun events, magical walks, lots of ice cream, giving sessions & even attending the ‘Sew Your Own Heart’ workshop as a student of 1 of my dear students/teachers (warmly recommended!), my heart is so full & thankful 💓

I feel super lucky & grateful to have built this community of 200+ beautiful souls in the safer space of our Visionary School of Reiki over the past 6 years 🥹 Incredible, inspiring & heart-felt humans with whom I genuinely love to share time & space 🥰

It was a very special weekend all together, especially with 1 of my very 1st students , who completed her Visionary Reiki 3 Master Practitioner training last November, joining in to observe & participate so that she can start teaching too 💜 (thank you for taking the photo!)

This was truly a special Course not only due to the incredibly heart-centered, authentic & lovingly supportive energy of the group 💓, but also because my very 1st student (/teacher) ever .energyhealing got to join to observe so that she can begin teaching her own Visionary Reiki Courses! 🥹 Was truly a full-circle moment & I’m so thankful for you to have been there, Dunja! ✨

We discussed a lot of thoughtful questions from very abstract to practical, like what do we focus on when channeling Reiki? 🤔 We shared how to navigate worry when it comes up & also how to stay true to our being (2 of the 5 Reiki Principles!), even when our day-to-day job may not feel completely aligned 💫
