In this workshop, we approach massage not just as a technique but as a conscious body art. During the massage, we play with the interplay of flow and interruption. The flow breaks and continues anew. Precisely where something new appears, we discover and then let go again. Your body becomes an instrument that plays in different rhythms and tempo. The structure emerges from improvisation and intuition. It is a journey.

In this workshop self-expression will be a key element for our process to become one with the work and create a massage for the individual receiving body that is diverse, flexible and adaptable. The benefit of the Hartono massage can induce mutual wellbeing. Exploring the movement techniques will prepare us to enhance fluidity and balance between gentle and powerful touch. We will learn to trust our inner perception and listen intuitively and lovingly to the needs of the other person.

The aim of this intensive two-day-workshop is to feel motivated to give a full massage, using the tools and techniques with joy and confidence. To be guided by our own movements and dynamics of finding nurturing strokes, grips and sequences. During the process we will dive deeper and learn how to regenerate the fascia and loosen muscles in depth, playing with different rhythms and frequencies.

The main focus lies on how to operate one’s body wisely in an energy work of balance. We practice many possible variations of using our arms, elbows, forearms, hands and fingertips while shifting our weight in harmony.

This individually personalized workshop is open for everyone, anyone curious to discover and develop further the potential of their own body to heal and transform. Most of the profound methods I have learned from my encounters with people in the fields of dance, martial arts and bodywork. What moves me deeply is sharing this knowledge where we can inspire and learn from each other. This work always keeps evolving. Here I find my strength and purpose and I feel very grateful to be leading us through this course.
