🟢 APPROVE or 🔴 VETO: Would you let your technician strip premolar enamel to expand a molar?

You want buccal expansion on the 6, but the arch is locked in compression.

Your technician sends back Version 1: to compensate for the compression force in the aligner, they programmed IPR in the premolar area.

The Planning Blueprint: TMJ and Aligners – Bite Setting / Centric Occlusion / TMJ TPS Protocol”

My presentation focused on the relationship between temporomandibular joint (TMJ) considerations and how to put it in the aligner treatmentplan, with particular emphasis on the importance of establishing an appropriate occlusal concept before and during digital treatment planning.
