Meet Mahmoud Wahidi, Praxis Manager of the IOZK Cologne Centre for Cancer Immunotherapy, as he introduces our work in Arabic.

In this video, he explains how immunotherapy can work alongside conventional cancer treatment, rather than replace it, and how each patient receives an individually tailored treatment plan.

He also discusses what international patients need to know about travelling to Cologne for care. Around 40% of IOZK’s patients come from abroad, with treatment designed around outpatient visits rather than extended hospital stays.

🎗️September marks Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, dedicated to raising awareness of cancer in children and adolescents and highlighting the importance of research and specialised care.

According to the Robert Koch Institute and the Childhood Cancer Registry, approximately 2,350 new cases are diagnosed annually in children under 18, about one in 330 before adulthood.
