3 signs your marriage is emotionally disconnected:

You talk, but don’t connect

You feel alone even when together

Conversations feel “functional,” not emotional

This doesn’t mean your marriage is over.
It means it needs intentional rebuilding.

If you could give a newlywed couple only ONE piece of advice in three words or less, what would it be? ✍️

Mine: "Always stay curious."

"Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect unity." Colossians 3:14 📖

On this Good Friday, my prayer for every marriage and every household is simple: may the love shown on the cross be the foundation of your home. Let’s choose kindness over being right, and unity over being apart.

Drop a "Amen" or a ❤️ if you’re praying for more love and peace in your family this season!

Let’s settle a debate: What is the ONE "unspoken rule" of marriage that everyone should know? 💍

I’ll go first: You don’t have to like the same movies, but you MUST agree on the bedroom temperature. ❄️🔥

🌹🌹Love or mistake...?🌹🌹

On their wedding day, Julian and Maya didn’t just sign a marriage license; they signed a "Sunset Contract." The terms were simple: The marriage would legally expire every five years. There would be no messy divorce, no lawyers, and no alimony. At the end of the term, they would simply walk away—unless both parties chose to "Renew" for another five-year block.
For fifteen years, they were the envy of their social circle. Because they knew the "Exit" was always approaching, they never took each other for granted. They dated, they listened, and they stayed fit. They treated every day like an interview for the next five years.
The Choice
Tonight was the eve of their fourth renewal. The paperwork sat on the mahogany desk between them.
"I realized something today," Julian said, his pen hovering over the signature line. "I’ve spent fifteen years being the perfect partner because I was afraid of the contract ending. I’ve been so focused on being 'renewable' that I’ve never felt safe enough to be truly messy. To be weak. To be boring."
Maya looked at her own unsigned paper. "And I've realized that I don't know if you love me, or if you just love the challenge of winning the next five years."
She picked up the contract and, instead of signing it, she tore it in half.
"I don't want another five-year lease, Julian," she said.
She pushed a blank piece of paper toward him. "Write me something that doesn't have an expiration date. Or let's walk away right now."
