This morning‘s realization: Others settle for dogs. I have Hedda!👌

Hearts! A gentle reminder I crossed this morning: the most powerful rebellion we have.

Today‘s gem: high treetops.✨

Hearts, carry this poem by Mary Oliver gently into your days. A quiet companion for moments when life feels vast and fleeting at once.
These lines speak of attention, of aliveness, of belonging - not above the world, but deeply within it.
An ecology of presence. An ethics of wonder.
Soft, fierce, and utterly human.

Warm & grateful wishes ✨

When Death Comes

When death comes
like the hungry bear in autumn;
when death comes and takes all the bright coins from his purse
to buy me, and snaps the purse shut;
when death comes
like the measle-pox
when death comes
like an iceberg between the shoulder blades,
I want to step through the door full of curiosity, wondering:
what is it going to be like, that cottage of darkness?
And therefore I look upon everything
as a brotherhood and a sisterhood,
and I look upon time as no more than an idea,
and I consider eternity as another possibility,
and I think of each life as a flower, as common
as a field daisy, and as singular,
and each name a comfortable music in the mouth,
tending, as all music does, toward silence,
and each body a lion of courage, and something
precious to the earth.
When it’s over, I want to say all my life
I was a bride married to amazement.
I was the bridegroom, taking the world into my arms.
When it’s over, I don’t want to wonder
if I have made of my life something particular, and real.
I don’t want to find myself sighing and frightened,
or full of argument.
I don’t want to end up simply having visited this world.
Mary Oliver

Today’s mood: unapologetically alive!

Today’s gem: the always fabulous Emily Dickinson!👌

Sometimes the most important thing is simply to sit
and remind the body that it is safe.
Recently, a colleague asked me why I so often begin my trauma-sensitive therapy sessions seated - on a chair rather than a mat.
Sitting allows the body to perceive more clearly what is happening within.
Freed from the weight of posture or performance, space opens to notice the subtle signals-breath, heartbeat, the touch of the floor.
Safety arises when perception is possible.
When the body senses that it is being listened to.✨

The embryology within us never ends. We fold in on ourselves, only to stretch open once more.✨
Can’t wait to see you for a Wild Stalking class this week .yoga

Fragile. Doesn‘t mean broken.
In the encounter with my clients, we don‘t seek to repair. We simpy listen for what wants to return - to regulation, to connection, to the quiet presence of the body.

Today’s mood: Embracing the wilderness of embodiment and nature.
We return – not forward, not backward in time,
but into an ancient knowing the body still remembers.
A knowing that does not speak loudly.
No command. No goal.
Only a consent. A listening.

It is not a doing.
It is the relinquishing of the idea that we must become something.
A soft descent – into truthfulness.
Into the fabric that holds us.
Into the space between breaths.
Where nature is not something we visit,
but something we are.

Today we do not tame.
Today we remember.

And I remember:
I am part. Not separate.
I am resonance.

And all of this –
in the midst of these unbelievably beautiful days,
held by stillness, by laughter, by the earth beneath our feet.
