📢 New WEO Position Statement is here!

The World Endoscopy Organization has released new position statements on the diagnosis and treatment of Superficial Non-Ampullary Duodenal Epithelial Tumors (SNADETs).

🔍 9 statements on diagnosis, covering routine duodenal inspection, high-definition endoscopy, and image-enhanced endoscopy (IEE) for lesion characterization
🛠️ 7 statements on management, establishing endoscopic resection (ER) as the preferred approach, with an emphasis on complete wound closure to reduce complication risk

👥 Developed by the WEO Stomach and Duodenal Diseases Committee members: Vitor Nunes Arantes, Josué Aliaga Ramos, Fabian Emura, Noriya Uedo, Seiichiro Abe, Hiroyuki Aihara, Naomi Kakushima, Xuemei Liu, Hon Chi Yip, Mario Dinis-Ribeiro, and Mitsuhiro Fujishiro.
