The long wait is finally over!
The MKW LA-X P500 laser pen has now received MDR certification for use in the human sector!
We would like to thank everyone involved at MKW, as well as the regulatory team at Livetec, who played a key role in this.
With the PowerTwin21 and XP5 laser showers, which were already approved in November 2025, all current MKW laser systems are now MDR-certified.
The LA-X P500 will be available for human use from mid-September.
