1. Active Centric Arch, lower
The lower active centric arch is made by joining the buccal cusps of the lower premolars and molars, the tips of the canines, and the incisal edges of the lower front teeth.
2. Passive Centric Arch, upper
The upper passive centric arch is formed by the marginal ridges and occlusal fossae of the upper posterior teeth, plus the marginal ridge areas of the upper anterior teeth.
3. Esthetic Functional Arch
The esthetic functional arch is found in the upper arch. It connects the buccal cusps of upper premolars and molars, the canine tips, and the marginal/incisal edges of the upper front teeth.
4. Active Centric Arch, upper
The upper active centric arch is an interrupted posterior arch. It is formed by the palatal cusps of the upper premolars and molars.
5. Passive Centric Arch, lower
The lower passive centric arch is also an interrupted posterior arch. It connects the fossae of the lower premolars and molars.
6. Lingual Arch, lower
The lower lingual arch is formed by connecting the lingual cusps of the lower premolars and molars.
