Great news, my pulse seminar at College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, UK from 25th-27th of September is now confirmed - we have enough participants.

Notice - there will be 2 zoom session prior so we can cover some theory - this way we can focus more on the hands on experience when we meet in person, first session is 2nd September 16-18.00 CET, second 16th September 16-18.00 CET.
Still a few places left... here's the link:

Book before 1st September to attend the online sessions live with Claus - replays are available, but MUST be watched before the in-person weekend at CICM.

CLINICAL PRACTICE DAYS IN STOCKHOLM with Claus Sørensen

In a small group setting we will see patients together – the main focus will be Pulse Diagnosis, but we will include Tongue Diagnosis and Fukushin Abdominal Diagnosis.

We can see 2-3 patients per day depending on the number of participants. A maximum of 6 practitioners is preferred. The reason for this is that the main pulse findings will be shared and ‘calibrated’ together, so what Claus finds on the pulse you will get a chance to feel under direct supervision. With 6 practitioners we will be able to see 2 patients per day.

4 participants can bring 1 patient during the 2 practice days – but preferably a patient where progress is somewhat stuck, so one can get a ‘second opinion’/’a new pair of eyes’ on the diagnosis.
We will formulate a treatment plan and suggest acupuncture and herbal approach for each patient.

Claus’ teaching fee and travel expenses will be shared between the participants.
How can you finance it? It is suggested that at least part of the expenses can be covered by the patients paying for a consultation – this way it is a win-win for the practitioner and the patient.

You will get access to some zoom recordings prior to our clinic days, so you can become a little familiar with the language for the 6 channels/Liu Jing and also intro to Fukushin Abdominal Diagnosis.

Dates; 3-4 October 2026. Hours each day 9-17.00.
SEK 3700 per participant. Please note that no refund is possible. Your place is secured when you have paid. Payment should be made to Tobias Bäckmann, email: [email protected], phone +46 735588799.

Location: Göran Jakobsson, Storskärsgatan 6,6 tr, 115 29 Stockholm, T-karlaplan.

In this 3-day hands on workshop, we will palpate the pulse together so we can learn to recognise the most common pulse qualities and learn the different depths on the pulse. This direct feedback is essential for the learning process.
